KALON BARRE PARIS
Happy New Year !

The entrance into a new year often signifies a fresh beginning for one’s personal goals and intentions. It can serve as a catalyst for reviving past apirations as well as inspiring new ones.

Here at Kalon, we’re looking forward to working with each of our clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. While resolutions may seem daunting and intangible, success is attained through hard work and determination, as well as support and encouragement. Kalon coaches are here to help you on your journey to a healthier mind and body through motivation and inspiration!

So, I asked a few of our coaches to share their 2025 New Year’s resolutions. Here’s what they said…

KALON BARRE PARIS

Zoë McNiel

Classically trained at The Julliard School, Zoë has danced with some of the most prominent companies in renowned venues, including Palais Garnier with l’Opera de Paris. Certified as a yoga instructor, barre coach, and lymphatic drainage masseuse, Zoë aims to contine exploring new kinds of movement throughout 2025.

I love the new year as a way to set gentle ideas and dreams for the future! Two years back I resolved to meditate everyday, and while I’m not perfectly consistent, it’s a resolution that has grounded me and its something I aspire to recommit to every year. My ultimate goal is to work up to a 10 day silent retreat… baby steps :). My physical intentions for the year are not only to continue dance, but to stay curious about movement. I am planning to do a surf workshop to hone my basic skills, and would love to start playing tennis with friends, get back to swimming laps, and find more ways to be outside. The thought of adding more versatility, playfulness, and challenge to my routine sounds very enticing. I moved to Paris a little over a year ago and feel grateful to have another year on the horizon to continue to find community of like-minded people, to work with new choreographers, to delve deeper into teaching at Kalon, to read more and scroll less, and perhaps to one day have an apartment big enough for a puppy.

Hannah Feltham

KALON BARRE PARIS

As a classically trained ballerina, Hannah excels in technique and grace. She has danced all over the world—from Beijing to Japan, Canada to Paris. This year, she hopes to prioritize her personal wellness through time intentionally set aside for recharging her mind and body.

My goals for the new year are to take self-care days, stretch more, care for my skin through hydrating facemasks, drink more water, and continue to stay active and motivational throughout the cold winter season.

KALON BARRE PARIS

Annalisa Pagnotta

Annalisa is a co-owner & manager of the Kalon Flagship Studio as well as lead coach. She has danced worldwide, including in renowned spaces like Lido de Paris. With balancing business oversight and motherhood, this year she strives to prioritize time management and self-care.

Firstly, I want to find time to dedicate just to myself. Right now, life is very busy with managing the studio and being a mom, so finding time for myself is really difficult. My goal is to be more consistent and to create a better balance between my life as a mom, my relationships, and my work life. I want to find time to take care of myself—both physically and mentally—like treating myself to some beauty treatments, or similar things. Another important goal for me is to detach more from my phone and social media. I’d like to get back into the habit of doing other activities, like reading, listening to podcasts, or going out to see exhibitions more often—things that are more cultural and fulfilling.”

Emma Beaumont

With performance experience ranging across multiple mediums—including dance, musical theater, and choir—Emma infuses positive energy into each of her classes, automatically uplifting everyone in the room. This year, she strives to be more intentional and present in every moment.

While I’m not a big fan of New Year’s resolutions, I do like setting an intention for the year. For 2025, I want to focus on self-compassion and living with presence and intention in my mind and body. As a lifelong over-achiever, it can be easy for me to catch myself pushing myself to the point of burnout and over-exertion. In 2025, I want to focus on presence and appreciating exactly where I am in my wonderful life.

Charlotte Jourdan

Originally from the UK, Charlotte has danced professionally around the globe, including in Jubilee Las Vegas, various cruise ships, and Lido de Paris. Her passion for dance is met with her passion for teaching. In the upcoming year, Charlotte hopes to motivate her students and prioritize stretching in her everyday routine.

My goals are to stress and worry less, enjoy the present moment more, and motivate people to enjoy exercise and see that it can be fun! I also want to do more stretches and mobility work, as it really helps to keep our body strong and prevent injuries, as well as helping our posture and mental wellbeing.

KALON BARRE PARIS

Colombe Villaume

Colombe is a French native, studying dance at the prestigious Conservatoire National de Danse de Paris before continuing ballet in Germany. She has since been apart of the acclaimed Lido de Paris and La Nouvelle Eve, where she held the role of cancan solist. Since 2023, Colombe has become a co-owner of the Kalon Flagship Studio in Paris, managing the studio and working as lead coach. This year, Colombe aims to prioritize her energy and be more mindful of what she puts in her body.

This year, I want to take good care of body through exercise and teaching. I also want to be intentional about what I fuel my body with. I want to eat healthy and drink more water and less alcohol. Being around the amazing Kalon women is going to help me energize both my mind and my body!”

Nisha Ayres

Passionate about the  infusion of yoga into her classes, specifically the Pranayama breathing technique, Nisha helps her students leave the studio feeling refreshed and strengthened. Going into 2025, she strives to work on bettering herself through personal challenges and nutrition.

I am training to do the half marathon in march and I’m always working on self development to become the best version of myself.  I also want to align with yoga more, participate in sports, and fuel my body with good food.

KALON BARRE PARIS

Sophie Fourçans Dibdin

As CEO and founder of Kalon, Sophie is no stranger to setting big goals. Her creation of Kalon’s dance-based method was born from her experience at Lido de Paris. Her entrepreneurial passion is rooted in her experience working for high-end clients all across the US. While Sophie achieved big milestones in 2024, she hopes to continue expanding Kalon in the new year, as well as taking time to focus on herself.

This year, I want to focus on my physical and mental health by taking time for myself each month by getting a facial or massage, and taking care of important doctors appointment that keep getting pushed back, such as the physiotherapist, dermatologist, etc.! This is so I can be better in myself, which is better for my family, friends, and colleagues. For Kalon, my big goal for this year is to work on the second studio while always keeping in mind the long term focuses: London, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles—and my resolution is to not be afraid to say it! My word for 2025 is: FEARLESS!

Paola Calliari

Paola has worked professionally as a dancer, actress, and pilates instructor, but her passion for creative expression and movement extends beyond these mediums. With experience working for a physical rehabilitation chiropractic clinic, Paola strives to share her knowledge of the body and promote health, peace, strength, and focus in each of her classes. In 2025, she hopes to connect with nature and further her acting pursuits.

I would like to spend more time in nature, continue being an inspiring coach, and find a production and co-production to bring alive the tv-series I wrote!

KALON BARRE PARIS

Annabel Proud

Originally from England, Annabel has danced professionally all over the world, including Spain, Germany and South-East Asia. She was brought to Paris after landing a spot in La Nouvelle Eve cabaret and the world renowned Lido de Paris. In 2025, Annabel hopes to maintain her focus on hydration and prioritize mental wellness.

I did this last year and I want to keep it up for 2025—have a high water intake! I try to drink at least 2.5L of water per day because it’s the best moisturiser for our skin and, honestly, the best way to stay healthy and glow, starting from the inside. I also want to manage my time better; most importantly giving myself breaks more often. I want to allocate different time slots in my week, whether that’s to do completely nothing, or some fun activities and socialising, and also personal work projects! It’s important to have these breaks so we don’t burnout—to take moments to pause before our body forces us to!

KALON BARRE PARIS

Lasma Andzane

Classically trained as a ballet dancer, Lasma has preformed in prestigious productions like The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty. In addition to ballet, she has experience dancing on the famous stages of the X Factor, Disneyland Paris, and, currently, Oh! César Paris Cabaret. Lasma hopes to me more intentional with her daily routines and push her comfort zones.

My goals for 2025 are to focus on mindful and meaningful workouts, to embrace the philosophy of living for myself, not others, and to prioritize self-care in every way. I also want to step out of my comfort zone by incorporating more colors into my life—like wearing bright lipstick every day—to feel more confident.”

Emma Rigby

As Kalon’s Co-Founder, Creative Director, and Teacher Trainer, Emma is an essential force that runs through the heart of Kalon. She is the mind behind our signature dance and pilates infused Kalon Barre® method, which enables clients to sculpt the body of a dancer. Emma created this method using her classical training from the Royal Ballet School in London, her time spent dancing professionally with the Scottish Royal Ballet, Norwegian Royal Ballet and the Moulin Rouge in Paris, as well as her extensive pilates knowledge. In the upcoming year, she hopes to implement meditation and curiosity into her day-to-day life.

“In 2025, I want to introduce something relaxing into my bedtime routine, like reading, meditation, or listening to soothing music, rather than being on screens. I would also like to spend more time in nature and discover new places near Paris. In regards to my body, I would like to try new workouts that push me outside my comfort zone, as well as doing things that I’m not the best at so that I get a challenge and work my body in a different way. To calm my mind, I hope to minimize clutter. I want to be more mindful regarding sustainable shopping and try to buy from smaller clothing brands, rather than big companies.”
